I hope you heal

Hello loves,

So this year has been a year full of intense growth.

 broken crayons still color.

broken crayons still color.

I am still here. Still breathing. Swimming in God's unending grace. I love loooveee the season am in.

I am THANKFUL.  I can truly testify that God has transformed my heart that was once broken  and am at PEACE.

I need to write this to...

All the women dealing with the weight of the world, walking around with the brightest smile-yet hurting. Carrying everyone's else's luggage, yet when your bags get too heavy, seems like no one is there to help carry you. To the women dealing with depression, loss, heartbreak, resentment- I hear you.

I hope you heal. I hope you fully dive in the ocean of grace. I hope you know how valuable you are. I hope you know how important you are. That you are not alone. I hope you learn to take care of yourself first-before any man, before any human. I hope you become ok with being transparent & vulnerable enough to open up. I hope you get to fully understand that there is no pain, no hurt, no valley that God can't heal & restore.

To all my sisters dealing with what you feel is more than you can bear-keep standing, keep believing, keep swimming.

For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37

If you are reading this & receive this, I pray you heal. I pray you find love wrapped in God's arms. I pray you stand tall. I pray you get to taste the freedom, love and joy am experiencing right now...the kind that comes from Our Father who art in Heaven. I pray you know that Jesus is interceding on behalf of you.

I pray you heal.

I love you. I got you. I am hugging you with prayers.

A Healed woman. ❤️

Forerunners of Change...

Well hello there ❤️'s !🌻💋

Happy New year lol where did that month go ? January is finally over!!! Yay! What a year this has been so far! Aaaa such a beautiful struggle!

So THANKFUL...I know it is hard to choose gratitude with everything going on. But am not blinded to the fact that many are suffering in this season. Trust me there is a reason why you and I are still here, witnessing all that is going on.

The beautiful Kenya is my motherland but this is my home too! And it's painful to see so many people divided. You board that plane for something better...and then...

For many, it's still a memory that  still haunts them.  But by just focusing on the positive side of it; am reminded of how blessed we are, how good we've had it compared to those who came before us. Can't even start to compare the pain or the struggle. And whether or not you agree with our current President & whats going on, lets not forget to have compassion. Many people are really broken right now. We can either be apart of the pain or be part of planting seeds of love; which is much needed right now.

As we continue to transition to a new chapter in our lives, I found it timely to reflect on how far we've come. The future is still ripe with questions & I find myself reflecting on some of the most beautiful souls that have inspired me. Whose words have actually impacted most of us. Gosh it's so humbling that these people had courage. They remind me that a steadfast dedication to true values will always bring about change.

It's such a ripe time to reflect on how we can move towards the future with renewed hope and purpose. You are capable and powerful...each one of you is. After all, it is still us, a collection of individuals, who are responsible for making the difference.

I am Christian...and trust me I do get frustrated when most of the times we are known for what we are against rather than what we are for. Every action, everything that we exude should reflect on who God really is in such a way that people see Him in us and glorify our Father in heaven.

Pointing out how the world needs to change and being the change the world needs are two different things.

Anyways...at the end lets not forget to be eternity focus. That's way important...what's ahead of us is even worse but also I believe that before that time comes, we will see a fruitful harvest birth through the pain and tears.

So I challenge you to be the CHANGE the world needs. Where there is bitterness, and all the other stuff that grow like "weeds" ; LOVE won't grow.
BELIEVE me when I tell you that ONLY in GOD'S arms is where you will find perfect peace. Then from there we can love, serve and lead in peace.

Let's not assume someone else will take responsibility. Move forward with courage and remember God is always one step ahead!
Let's be challenged to be just like Jesus; be a forerunner for change with LOVE. Let's not assume someone else will take responsibility. Move forward with courage and remember God is always one step ahead!

I'll continue to share my favourite quotes so stay tuned, but  here are a few of my fav's.

I love you! ! ✨

If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.
— Mother Teresa
Turn your wounds into WISDOM
— Oprah Winfrey

And my all time favorite which I would encourage you all to read the whole chapter.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have a prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and I have all the faith, so as to remove mountains, but have no love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing...
— 1 Corinthians 13

Content. Am enough to be the change this world needs!❤️

Assumption is the killer of every relationship...of everything!

3 Powerful Questions To Ask Before The Year Ends!!

"Earth has no sorrow heaven can't  heal."❤️

Good Morning Loves!!!

Wow! Can you believe it?!?  Today is the last day left in December of 2016?!?! What a ride! What is one word that you would use to describe this year?

For many' this has been a really tough year.

No doubt, some wondrous and beautiful things have happened for all of us. And, just like me I know you've also likely had your fair share of struggles and setbacks.

While a lot of people feel the urge to end the year negatively. I'm here to help you end it positively.

Because Look...

There's a lot of good things and un-leveraged wisdom to be mined from the past twelve months. Even from the past many years you've lived, if you know how to find it.

Uncelebrated accomplishments. Some hard-won lessons you'd be wise not to repeat.

And most importantly YOU ARE HERE!

You are still here. It's HIS air in our lungs that we breathe. Am just soo grateful that God saw it fitting to have you and I on the wake up list.

First, Let's Be Honest...

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
— Isaiah 61:3

This year it was really really hard for me. And am not just saying that to make you feel good or take you on an emotional journey. No. Am just being honest. I almost lost my life. Yap! I did.  It was the craziest most scariest feeling. To know that I had given someone that much power.....uuu lawd...stuff cut deep. Looking back  am just like thank GOD! Thank God He saved me.  But at the same time I am soo GRATEFUL that it all happened. I'm wiser and so much stronger. Like me still being here; that's a HUGE testimony.  I don't take that lightly. I literary was walking around in so much guilt and shame and couldn't forgive myself for letting things affect me that much. It was painful...I thank God He turns pain into joy. That so many GOOD things still happened after the aftermath.  I love the woman am becoming.

My Word For This Year Is; GRACE.

The truth is...it's soo tiring. It's so tiring to carry baggage that's not your portion. Carrying guilt that's not your portion. Jesus didn't die for that. No. HE DID NOT! He came and died so that we may live life in freedom from the things of this world. From broken hearts. From depression.

I know this might bring up some stuff but honey there is no glory in walking with any thing that's holding you back. I don't take light when His word says; "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10. Like he literary comes to do just that. He can use your friends, he can use your blessing, he can use you if you are not fully surrendered to Christ. Whatever it is just be honest.

This year I learned a lot about forgiveness. Forgive myself and others. I think forgiving yourself for something you know you should have done better is usually the hardest. But do you know how much God loves you? How much He is so ready to welcome you with open arms? I thank God for grace. Thankful that he turns "beauty for ashes" (as quoted on one of my favorite scriptures above. Isaiah 61:3)

Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.
— Margaret Wheatley

So On This Stop... how about we drop some stuff?!

I want to share with you a simple year review that has helped me a lot & it's ideal to do right now. Or whatever given time and space you are in when you read this.

These 3 simple questions help me leverage what I've learned and clear my mental, emotional and spiritual decks in preparation as I grow into the person God has designed me to be.

All you need is a journal and your bible and you being completely honest with yourself.

Write down:

Yes to being soo ALIVE & VIBRANT like these beautiful roses my family got me for my birthday this year! :)

1. One thing you did this year that you're proud of.

2. One mistake you made and the lesson you've learned

3. One thing you're willing to let go before the new year or new day starts.

I pray that you'll take the time to sit still. Be honest and let God speak to you. Teach you. Prune you. Feel free to share on the comment session & if you need prayers pleaseeeee feel free to message me if you feel led to.

As you reflect remember that: just because you've lost some rounds doesn't mean you wont win the fight.

Remember in SURRENDERING we win. In DYING we LIVE!

Hugging you with prayers loves! Looking forward to reading from you!

I love you guys and God even loves you more.

Happy end of year loves & cheers to a new tomorrow!!!

With all my love,

Diana 💋

Hidden Meaning.

The Gift.

I love this new ring by Vera Wang...❤️❤️❤️

Right after I had just joined high school, my mother gave me this ring that meant a lot to her. It was a symbol to remind me how valuable I was, how important it was for me to keep myself pure, to remember that my body is sacred and that I am royal. Of course, she emphasized not to loose it. Believe it or not I lost it. I don't know how that happened, but I LOST it!!! I literally went out searching for it everywhere and never found it.  I knew she would be disappointed, so I tried coming up with all these excuses how it got stolen. But I just couldn't.

Hidden Meaning...

Of course, I didn’t want to tell my mom. I was afraid of  disappointing her. Her response after finding out is what that really changed my perspective on giving and receiving.
"That's All That Matters," she said. "Wait what? that's all?" "As long as you know why I gave it to you, that's all that matters.". That is what that still matters because now, 15 plus years later, It still holds a sentimental meaning because of the words my mama spoke to me. The thing is, even if I don't have it with me physically, I still remember the why.

It's Christmas today...

What Kind Of Gifts Have You Been Giving or Planning to give in the future? So many people rushed trying to find the perfect gift. Some of us are frustrated because we didn't or don’t get to give or receive the perfect gift. I know it's the Holidays right now, but I want to invite you to focus on your life pretty much and do a heart check with me. The thing is, it's so easy to focus more on the gift instead of the intention and the meaning behind it.
With all these thoughts in my head, I couldn’t help but think about all of us who have gifts inside of us that are tucked away and hidden. Gifts that we have never used, gifts that have been given by God, gifts that are special, gifts that can not only change your life but the world. Yet we leave them hidden, tucked away in the corners of our souls.

I thank God my mom took the time to share her heart with me. She didn't hide it. Because of her, I still understand the deeper meaning about purity, making a vow and keeping a covenant.

True giving has love in every detail.

Just Think About It. Are You Afraid To Share Your Heart?

Are there times whereby you still feel hurt because you sacrificed SOO MUCH  & no one appreciated your gift(s)? Are there moments that you got carried away with the present than the intention? I have been there before. Makes me think that maybe we've forgotten that God values intimacy and relationships.  But that doesn't have to be the reality. Really seek to see why you give or even why you have been holding back. Why not commit to searching your soul for all of your gifts, even the hidden ones, and begin to use them. No matter what people say, no matter who judges you for it and no matter what people think? Use the gifts that God has given you to help spread some hope and love and joy to this world. This world needs it.

My beautiful sister's piece of art work ❤️

My beautiful sister's piece of art work ❤️

I'm reminded how Jesus gave. It did cost something. It cost His LIFE. True giving comes from living from the heart of yourselves and giving expecting nothing in return.

I love these two scriptures: "for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’ -Acts 17:28

"If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving—large or small—it will be used to measure what is given back to you"
-Luke 6:38

How beautiful is that; we get to be the hands and feet for Jesus. We get to be God with skin on.

True giving has love in every detail.  I pray that we will love more with our words and hearts beyond the gifts under the Christmas tree.  Your life does get better when you share with others from the heart.

Your legacy is every heart that you touch.

Merry CHRISTmas beautiful humans!!!  Hugging you with prayers as you share your gifts through life. May God really use you. You are special.

I love You, Always.

Alamsiki!!! Besos. ❤️❤️❤️

You Are Not Alone.

Christmas is here...10 days to be exact.  While some of us are joyful and ready to welcome family members into our homes, others are having a hard time. Many people are feeling lost in this season.

This season is not always fun for so many people...Am humbled I get to share my thoughts with y'all because...

I’ve Been There Before.

I know the feeling. When the holiday season seems dark and is to be endured rather than enjoyed. When you want to hide from the world for a long minute. When you have to deal with all the questions: Why are you still single? Why aren't you with your family during Christmas time? Why haven't you graduated and found a job?

An overwhelming presence of distress and anxiety surrounds you. I know this feeling...

You Are Not Alone.

Feelings though valid they too fade away. I can testify to that. There is freedom when we just release it all before God. And today I want to bring this word of hope: God understands. He sees it all. He hurts when you hurt. He understands all the tears. He is so near you, even when you can not touch Him.

I have struggled with anxienty before, and wanted to share what I've learned. We must first come to a place of complete surrender to God and His plan of healing- even if we cannot see or understand what’s going on in our hearts, mind and soul. God’s heart always longs for restoration. He longs to give you a hug on the inside where fingers cannot go.

Instead of crying “Oh why, oh why, oh God?”, I want to invite you to pray when you feel anxious. To say “but God you are loving. You see me. You long to restore”*

Use Prayer As A Weapon.

Before running to anything or anyone else, PRAY.

Prayer is an invitation for God to come in and partner with you. Prayer together with God's word creates an atmosphere that the enemy has no ground. So when you are feeling overwhelmed, remember to abide in Gods word. It surely is sharper than a double edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

These are verses that speak to me when I get overwhelmed:

"And he said to them, this kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.” Mark 9:29

"Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven." Psalm 107:28-30

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24

"Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14

As you read through these verses, may God speak to you as you seek Him. And may you follow through and let go of what burdens your soul. May God give you wisdom and discernment to teach you how He wants you to pray and for what He wants you to pray for specifically.

May this holiday season be filled with healing, pure love, pure laughter and light instead of darkness.

Hugging you with prayers and love.

I love you! God loves you!

WELCOME!!

Ocean Beach, NJ ❤️❤️❤️ ( ...If only I could camp here forever...)

Ocean Beach, NJ ❤️❤️❤️

( ...If only I could camp here forever...)

Let's try this again folks... First and foremost am so sorry about the other website blog. No one has access to that site or any of their work. Anyways so thankful for this new space!!!  Allow me to re-introduce myself...

Well, welcome to this space.

Am not an English major or anything cool lol. Am just a wittle passionate human being who loves life and you.  I've always loved writing. The ache is too deep and raw for me not to obey this calling to share all this love and joy that can be bundled up in one wittle human.

I had to pick up writing again especially after doing Miss Kenya USA and having a platform for my non-profit; Abandon No One. Which has to do with exactly that; Abandoning No One. So here we are again. My goal is to have every goal awakened & to help you do the same AMEN! lol I'll be writing about anything! From food (I loove food), books, God, sex...yes Sex, health, wealth, leadership, acting, teaching, culture, lessons learned...you name it! So grab a stool lol

For now let me first share one of the most important lesson I've learned and am so gratefule for i, to LOVE myself and no there is nothing wrong with that.

I've learned that.

The greatest disease is not leprosy or tuberclosis; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for...there are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love...”
— Mother Teresa

As much as we abandon each other, I believe the thing we have repeatedly done so well is abandon ourselves. Yes you. When was the last time you really looked yourself in the mirror and embraced all of you? When was the last time you really sat down in silence and thanked God for all that you are?  When was the last time you truly took care of yourself?. Depending on how you responded, how can you expect to love your neighbor if you don't even love yourself? This are the questions I've asked myself...and its not easy... but you owe it to yourself to know and love yourself the way God intends for you to before you live this earth.

My prayer is...that you'll leave better than when you first arrived on this blog.  Let this be a sacred space for every soul. To remind you that you are unconditionally loved. For us to vow not to abandon ourselves as we are called to love others as we love ourselves but first to love God.

So today... I love who I am and the woman am becoming.

Join me in this journey of embracing self, every part of you...even the parts that no one claps for. Start by writing something that you are thankful for and stick it somewhere that is visible. Now find something that you've negleted the most and write it down. Then ask God to show you how you can love and embrace who He created you to be.

This scripture speaks volume; “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment.  And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as YOURSELF."-Matthew 22:37-39.

Yay to loving you and loving God who had no rush to create such a beautiful creation; You.

Thanks for all those who've pushed to write. I can't wait to walk and grow with you. To serve and love from a place thats true.

I love you. God loves you.

Hugging you with prayers!

Besos! 💋
